Bread&Circus is a Dublin based film & media production company producing feature films, documentaries and media campaigns to a cinematic standard. B&C have produced over 20 short films and two feature films to date that have exhibited internationally and been broadcast nationally.

We specialise in innovative viral campaigns to promote our projects, most recently to support the feature documentary The 4th Act about the largest housing regeneration project in Europe. Formed from the art-film collective Dogmedia B&C's first film was the ambitious transmedia project Shamrocracy (IRL/UK/HU) derived from over 120 hours of material and shot over a four year period during the Irish financial crisis. It premiered at The Galway Film Fleadh where it was described as a 'jaw-dropping satire on Irish politics.'

Most recently B&C completed a feature documentary on the largest regeneration project in Europe, The 4th Act. This film has been used as an ‘event cinema’ educational tool and a community resource in the ongoing housing crisis throughout Ireland. B&C have just completed project management on an 18 -month long project in collaboration with the Irish Film Archive to catalogue all 300+ hours of archive uncovered during the making of the film.
